Overview
I was brought in to create a unified design system for a rapidly growing enterprise company struggling with inconsistent product experiences across 12 different teams.
The Challenge
Each team had developed their own component libraries, resulting in 23 different button styles, 8 modal patterns, and countless accessibility issues. Design debt was slowing down development and creating a fragmented user experience.
The Solution
I built Forma from the ground up with engineering partnership at every step. The system includes not just components, but comprehensive guidelines for composition, accessibility, and brand expression within systematic constraints.
